Ninjas in Pyjamas won ESL's 6th Go4CS:GO cup by defeating PRiME MATES in a dominating fashion, 16-3 on de_inferno_se and 16-1 on de_mirage_csgo. This is their second official title after triumphing at SteelSeries GO tournament a few weeks ago.
ESL's Go4CS:GO #6 tournament was initially played on August 12, just a couple of days after NiP's lineup was officially announced. Back then the Swedish superstars made their way to their first final with ease, in the last obstacle defeating their countrymen gekas in the semi-final 16:0.
In the final their opponents turned out to be PRiME MATES, Danish squad with a CS:Source background, but that match was postponed in order for ESL to set up a stream. As ESL TV's Joe Miller was unavailable in the past weeks, the match kept getting pushed further up, until KaosTV was brought in to help with the broadcast and the match finally took place tonight.
It didn't turn out to be much fun though, as the Swedes practically ran over the Danes. The first map was de_inferno_se where PRiME MATES only managed to give signs of life during the early rounds, bringing a 4-0 deficit back to 4-2 with a couple of successful attacks. After that it was all about NiP who went on to win the map 16-3 while each of their players had his moments.
On de_mirage_csgo, things actually went even worse for the Danes who only mustered up one round on their attacking side and the match quickly ended after a 16-1 blowout in the second map.
